"Hawley’s clinics are always incredibly positive, informative, and motivating.

"For the horses and riders that participated in this and the last clinic with her, it was clear that there was a significant improvement in their styles and ability to handle challenges together."

Hawley Bennett

Hawley Bennett-Awad, originally from Langley Canada, operates a thriving training business out of Temecula, Ca. Since Hawley Bennett-Awad was a young kid she dreamed of representing her native country of Canada on the international stage. In 2004, aboard her long time partner Livingstone, that dream became a reality at the Athens Olympic games. Six years later, with a feisty little mare named Gin & Juice, Hawley helped earn the team silver medal for Canada at the World Equestrian Games, establishing Canada as an Eventing powerhouse on the world stage. Again in 2012, that dream of representing her country became a reality on the world’s biggest stage at the London Olympic games, and although her trip around the Olympic cross-country course was cut short in London, Hawley was thrilled to have represented her native country of Canada aboard Gin & Juice.

In 2013, the well-known duo represented Canada on the international Eventing stage, first at the Rolex Kentucky CCI4*, finishing 7th overall and at the Pau CCI4*, finishing in the top 20! In 2014 Hawley and Ginny earned more international renown, including a 16th place finish at the Rolex Kentucky CCI4*, being short listed for the Canadian National Eventing Team, and being named to the Team representing Canada at the 2014 World Equestrian Games.

In 2015, Hawley and young horses Bodark and Hi Duty had numerous top placings at both the one and two star levels, including Bodark’s 5th place finish in the CCI2* at Twin Rivers and Hi Duty’s 1st place finish in the CIC1* at the Fresno County Horse Trials.

In 2016, Hawley and her newly acquired upper level horse, Jollybo had a very successful season. They formed an amazing partnership winning both the Preliminary at Copper Meadows followed by the Intermediate at Coconino. Next, Hawley and Jollybo went on to produce an impressive 3rd place finish at the Rebecca Farm CCI3*, as well as a top 20 finish at the prestigious Fair Hill International CCI3*!

In 2017, Jollybo and Hawley finished in 2nd place in the Advanced at Twin Rivers. In April, Hawley and Jolly traveled east to compete at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event where they finished in 12th place at their first Four-Star level competition! In July, Hawley and Jollybo traveled to Rebecca Farm where they finished in 3rd place in the CIC3*. In September, they made the trip across the country to compete at the American Eventing Championships where they finished 14th in the Advanced.

Hawley and Jollybo began their 2018 season with a 2nd place finish in the Advanced division at Fresno County Horse Park. They went onto finish 8th in the CIC3* at Chattahoochee Hills International in April followed by a 7th place finish at the Jersey Fresh International CCI3*.
